Gallus Glasgow - Public Engagement for the Brave and the Bold

Gallus: gall-us / adjective – Scots word meaning cheeky, bold, daring or mischievous.

Thank you for your interest in #EUSEA27. As we plan for the European Science Engagement Conference coming to Scotland next May, we are looking for public engagement and science communication ideas that are bold, disruptive, challenge the status quo and support meaningful participation with communities.

We invite contributions from those who are championing engaged practice with science and research and experimenting with new forms of engagement despite times of challenge and constraint. #EUSEA27 is hosted by the University of Glasgow Advanced Research Centre (ARC), which offers a range of facilities to inspire creative proposals, including a MakerSpace, Studio, flat space, and more traditional seated and cabaret setups. Keep this in mind when submitting your idea, and let us know on page 2 if a particular space would suit your session.

EUSEA is delighted to be partnering with the UK's national funding agency UKRI to provide bursaries to support attendance for UK-based professionals and researchers and/or community representatives working in engaged research.
