The Making and Meaning of "Politics of Dis/Assembling"
01.11.2026 –, ZLB | Amerika-Gedenkbibliothek (Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg) II

What is dis/assembling? This question and others will be discussed in the context of the 2026 publication Politics of Dis/Assembling (HumDrumPress).

Politics of Dis/Assembling is a collection of essays, reflections, interviews and artistic contributions published by HumDrumPress, exploring the frictions and potentialities of artistic and activist forms of dis/assembling. In this event, the editors share insights into the book-making process, from its collaborative, organizational and editorial challenges to the interdisciplinary and creative opportunities it afforded and ask what it means to dis/assemble collectively today.
